It is heartening to recognize that many of the principles and goals of the ongoing Synod on Synodality were already in the minds and hearts of the founding members of SEDOS sixty years ago. The thrust for congregations to learn together so we can respond collaboratively to the challenges of the Church’s global mission is a most precious gift that SEDOS should intensify in the next few years as our contribution to the renewal of the Church’s mission in the world.
